Saria and the Portal


As Saria skipped her way to her house, a feeling of loneliness hit her. Link had gone off on one of his "Save the world" journeys again, Malon was always busy, and it took a long time to see Zelda with all the guards and such, and princess Ruto's father wouldn't let her leave the Zora cave. She laid down, it was only 1:00, but she wanted to think of how to get more friends. Then she got an idea, "I'll go check out a minish town!"
They were to small to see, so she would have to go through a minish portal. She found a tree stump with a slight glow, stood on it and chanted the magical spell. She shrunk to about 3 inches and fell on some soft leaves. She followed a tiny trail until she came to a log, and walked through it. She came to a long hallway of clovers and grass and mini houses. She stopped herself and thought, "What was I thinking, I can't just waltz in here and make friends!" She was about to leave when something caught her eye, a laboratory. She walked in to see a shelf of potions and elixirs, there was no one there. She saw a big book that was labeled, "The Magic in the World" she opened it to see how to take everyday things and use them for magic. After flipping through a couple pages, she came to a page on how to drain a minish portals power, the paragraph below it said, "The most useful thing a portal can do is body potions, such as invincibility, fire resistant and invisibility*." Saria followed the asterisk down to the bottom of the page, "*See back for full list." She was interested on what else it could do, so she flipped to the back. She saw one labeled "Pranksters" she read on, "Prankster potions are potions that can't help or hurt your body, and commonly used for pranks, the less rare ones are, shrink, growth, transgender, age progression, age regression, breast expansion and teleport." Saria then got a great idea, she memorized how to make each of them, and then made her way back to the portal. Once she was normal size, she took a wolf's tooth and tapped into the portal, then with some chu-chu jelly she rubbed the stump and a golden liquid started to squirt out. She quickly put a empty bottle under it, soon it was completely filled. She walked back to her house and got out seven different colored bottles. Then Saria filled each bottle with the special potion from the portal, then she added an extra ingredient for each one. For the red one she put a lizard tail, for the blue a mouse's ear. For the green she put a fly's wing, for the yellow she put some whale fat. For the purple she put a frog tongue, for the pink she put a mule's hair. Finally she put some ocean wind in the white one, and put all of these on her belt. Then Saria got another idea, she opened a cabinet where a broken hookshot lay. The chain wouldn't eject, but she didn't need it so she took it off. She put the blue bottle in the center, it fit perfectly. All the sudden, Saria remembered the cure all potion, it would return anyone who drinks one of these back to normal. She took a black bottle and filled it with the rest of the power potion (as she called it) and mixed it with some blue chu-chu jelly. Saria attached the squirtshot (as she called it) to her wrist, she was ready. She took a sip of the white potion and concentrated on Lon-Lon ranch. A blur of fog and light surrounded her and in a few seconds she was at the entrance. She spotted Malon feeding epona and walked up to her. "Oh hi Saria! What's new?" she asked, "Nothing, I just wanted you to try my new….uh…soup!" Malon looked puzzled, "I never knew you were the cooking type. Okay!" Saria handed her the blue bottle, "It's not that warm." Malon said feeling it, "It's a kind of cold soup!" Saria answered, as Malon drank it Saria asked, "Where's your dad?"
"Oh he's out in Hyrule market, he won't be back for a while." Her voice was slowly getting higher as she said this, "Hey, you're taller than I remember, have you grown?"
"Nope, you probably shrunk, or are shrinking."
"Saria don't be ridiculous, you and I both know.. There's…." Malon stopped as she noticed the now 50 foot tall Saria giggling. "Saria, this isn't funny! Change me back!" Saria answered, "Oh, look how small you are! I've got the perfect place for you!" Saria picked up the red-headed farm girl and put her in an empty bottle. "There, now you won't get lost!" Malon banged against the bottle shouting, "Saria! Let me out!" Saria corked the bottle and sipped some more white potion, this time she focused on the Zora cave.


Saria found some blue leaf earlier for this exact moment. She loaded it into her squirtshot and fogged the two front guards, they instantly fell asleep. Then she rubbed some yellow bush on their noses so they would wake up in about ten hours. Saria mixed it with the blue leaf so she wouldn't have to do it every time. She jumped in and fired it every where, she had eaten redstem earlier so she wouldn't be affected. As she made her way to the throne room, she ducked down so king Zora wouldn't see her, and fogged him right in the mouth. Princess Ruto jumped back as her father leaned over and started to snore. Saria stepped forward, "Saria!? What did you do!?"
"Oh nothing." she pointed her gun at Ruto, "just having fun." Ruto was fast asleep. Saria poured some of the blue potion down her throat and she shrunk down. She opened the bottle and put Ruto in, "Saria!" Malon shouted, "What have I done to deserve this!" Saria corked the bottle without answering, and then she warped to the gates of hyrule castle.

Saria had to get past the guards to get to Zelda, and she didn't want to use all of her shrink potion, so she thought. Then she got an idea, she took out her ocarina and started playing something she saw in the minish book. The guards looked over at her and walked towards her. Then Saria shouted, "Guards!" and splashed one of them with a shrinking potion. As he began to shrink, the one beside him shrunk to, it was a potion spreading song, all of the guards were now 3 inches tall. She stepped over them and made her way to the throne room. When she got there, Zelda was sitting down with Impa beside her. Impa stood up and said, "You were not given permission to enter, and I assume you shrunk all the guards, you will pay!" Before she could say anything else, Saria sprayed some purple potion at Impa and her breasts immediately grew so she fell on the floor and couldn't move. "Saria!" Zelda yelled, "What do you think you're doing!" Without an answer she fogged Zelda with the blue potion and warped to kokiri forest.


"Saria! Let us out!" Zelda and Malon pounded against a glass cage they were trapped in, and Ruto was trying to climb out of a fishbowl. Saria was experimenting on two guards she took from the castle, they were each in separate containers. She put the pink potion in the first box, the guard's hair grew longer and his legs got thinner his armor became a pink dress and his beard vanished. He had became a woman, he looked at himself and fainted not long later. For the second one, she put the green potion in and he began to shrink, but his clothes didn't go with him. He turned into a baby, Saria giggled. She turned around and said to the hostages, "I have a surprise for link, but don't tell him!" She grabbed Zelda and hugged her, and put her back, "I'll be back after a while, behave you three!" Saria left, "We have to do something!" Malon said, "I know!" Ruto said from the neighboring fishbowl, "I think I know what happened," Zelda said, "The only way she could obtained those powers were through a minish portal, the power must have messed with her mind."
"What are we going to do?" Malon asked, "We can only hope that link gets here before Saria does." Zelda answered.
